American Legion Quade-Werchan Post Donates to RT-C Education Foundation

The American Legion Quade-Werchan Post No. 338 and Ladies Auxiliary participated in the Round Top-Carmine Education Foundation ‘Small Town, Big Hearts Fundraiser’ held on Feb 3. During the event the post presented a check to the foundation in the amount of $1,200.

For the past ten years the post has partnered with the Round Top-Carmine Education Foundation to support their efforts. During this time the post has contributed a total in excess of $14,000 to the organization in support of the school district and their students. The post’s donations have been used to purchase new musical instruments for the band program, books for the library, as well as needs related to laptop computers and classroom white boards. In addition to the post’s financial contributions, post members have also made personal donations to support the foundation.

American Legion Quade-Werchan Post No. 338 meets the first Thursday of each month at their hall located at 1503 N. State Highway 237 Round Top. Meetings begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.
