    American Legion Celebrates Birthday

Following the regular meetings of the H.J. Ehler American Legion Post 102, La Grange, and its Auxiliary on Wednesday March 8, members enjoyed delicious homemade stew cooked by J.R. Baca and Odis Pfeiffer, followed by anniversary cake provided by the Auxiliary celebrating the 104th birthday of the American Legion. Pictured are, from left, Richard Gray, First Vice Commander, Mary Gray, Adjutant, Andrew Kruppa, Odis Pfeiffer, Commander, James Bramblett, John D. Marburger, Judge Advocate, and Tommy Swearingen. All veterans are invited and encouraged to join Post 102 and enjoy the comradeship, meetings, meals and service projects the Post provides. American Legion Post 102 and its Auxiliary meet at the Veterans Hall (formerly the VFW hall) on the north part of the Fayette County fairgrounds at 6 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every month.
