AMEN Food Pantry Offers New Drop Off Locations

The AMEN Food Pantry served a total of 332 families for the month of June for a total of 1,034 individuals. Food donations received were 8,533 pounds. A total of 135 volunteers for 540 hours served the pantry.

The pantry is offering alternative locations for non perishable food to be dropped off at three churches.

Monday-Thursday, the drop off locations are The Remnant Church, La Grange Church of Christ and Shared Lutheran Ministries in Warrenton. Product can be dropped off at the pantry Monday morning and/or Thursday morning from 10 a.m. to noon. The food pantry appreciates the churches that are assisting with food drop off.

The upcoming summer months traditionally are the slowest time of year for food donations and monetary donations. As eveyone enjoys the festivities of summer, please remember that the need for food assistance continues.

AMEN continues to appreciate all in the community for their assistance at the food pantry, without your support the pantry would not be able to support the needs of the community.
