Adoptions are down nationwide. The shelter is at maximum capacity. Most of our dogs are bully breeds who are well socialized and ready to fi nd a forever home. We also have many feral cats who need a barn to live in. They are available at a discounted adoption fee. Please visit our shelter and see if there is someone here who can fi ll a spot in your heart, in your barn or on your couch. We offer coupons for a discount on spaying and neutering Fayette County animals. Please call to inquire

• Visit the shelter at 240 Svoboda Lane and adopt animals on Tuesday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shelter is closed on Monday. The animal shelter will not accept surrendered animals on Saturdays

The animal shelter is in need of puppy chow, kitten chow, dog and cat food, paper towels, candles, Pine Sol, and Lysol.
