FAYETTE COUNTY ADOPTABLE

Tyson is a 4-year-old Boxer/American Bulldog mix and Maya is a 3-year-old Shepherd mix. They came to us because their owner could no longer care for them. They are extremely bonded, and the shelter is not the place for these dogs. They do not have to be adopted together, but if you have a home with no pets and can open your home to this duo, they will feel so much better outside of this environment. It would also open 2 kennels for dogs we have on a waiting list to come in. We are overwhelmed and at maximum capacity. If you cant adopt, we would appreciate a bag of Pedigree dog food to help get us by.

HOURS:

• Visit the shelter at 240 Svoboda Lane and adopt animals on Tuesday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shelter is closed on Monday. The animal shelter will not accept surrendered animals on Saturdays.

The animal shelter is in need of puppy chow, kitten chow, dog and cat food, paper towels, candles, Pine Sol, and Lysol.
