Huskies are a special breed. They need a special family. They are active, smart, independent, stubborn, and absolutely beautiful. We currently have 2 adult male huskies in our shelter looking for their forever homes. These dogs have had a lot of attention and strong leaders in the shelter and have had a good start in basic manners and commands. They keep their kennels clean and walk well on leashes. If you’d like to meet them or would like to bring your dog to meet them, please contact the shelter.

• Call the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter at 966-0021 HOURS:

• Visit the shelter at 240 Svoboda Lane and adopt animals on Tuesday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shelter is closed on Monday. The animal shelter will not accept surrendered animals on Saturdays.
