Pearl, left, is a 3-year-old Blue Lacy mix. She is selective with her friends and would be great in an only pet home. She walks well on a leash and is very affectionate. She enjoys being outdoors and loves car rides. Need a traveling buddy? She is always up for an adventure!

Snoopy, right, is some sort of Shepherd mix who was adopted from us years ago and returned when her owner passed. She was surrendered with another dog who has already been adopted. She is 9 years old and looking for her forever spot. She can be selective with friends, but is kennel and leash trained.

• Visit the shelter at 240 Svoboda Lane and adopt animals on Tuesday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shelter is closed on Monday. The animal shelter will not accept surrendered animals on Saturdays.
