Homie, left, is a 6-year-old Catahoula mix. He’s one of the most handsome dogs in Fayette County. He has almost reached his 100th day in our shelter. He‘s selective of his friends and prefers female dogs. He loves people. He is leash trained, knows basic commands and keeps his kennel clean. He loves a good run around the backyard, but will gladly lay next to you while you nap on your recliner. Call today to set up a meet and greet.

• Visit the shelter at 240 Svoboda Lane and adopt animals on Tuesday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shelter is closed on Monday. The animal shelter will not accept surrendered animals on Saturdays.
