Avery, left, has spent over 400 days in our shelter. He is a very people friendly dog. He does have many dog friends at the shelter too who are all female. He is high energy and keeps his kennel clean. He does not like cats, but not everyone has cats… Right? If you have the space and the time to add this big boy to your family, please consider stopping by to meet him. He may be everything you are looking for.

The shelter also has working cats available for adoption at a discounted adoption fee. If you need a barn cat, please call us!

• Call the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter at 966-0021 HOURS:

• Visit the shelter at 240 Svoboda Lane and adopt animals on Tuesday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shelter is closed on Monday. The animal shelter will not accept surrendered animals on Saturdays.
