4-H Competes in Texas Rice Festival Livestock Judging Contest
Fayette County 4-H members competed in the Texas Rice Festival Livestock Judging Contest on Saturday, Oct. 7.
The Fayette County 4-H Junior Maroon Team was the Champion Junior Livestock Judging Team. Team members consisted of Abraham McBride, Laramie Laake, Tatum Fritsch, and Kaisley Janecka. Individually, Abraham was high point Junior, Laramie was 7th, Kaisley tied for 9th. and Tatum was 10th.
The Fayette County 4-H Junior Green Team placed Reserve Champion Junior Livestock Judging Team. Team members consisted of Holden Holub, Julia Melton, Addison Eichler, and Tate Fritsch. Individually, Holden was 3rd and Julia was 6th.
The Fayette County 4-H Junior Gold Team was 3rd overall. Team members consisted of Crockett Guenther, Addison Berckenhoff, Alexis Berckenhoff, and Adalyn Carrales. Individually, Crockett was 4th and Addison Berckenhoff tied for 9th.
The Fayette County 4-H Junior White Team placed 7th overall. Team members consisted of Hudson Holub, Abigale McBride, and Rilan Karisch.
The Fayette County 4-H Senior Team was the Champion Senior Livestock Judging Team. Team members consisted of Peyton Gilchrest, Rheagan Karisch, Kaylee Hensley, and Madyson Holub. Individually, Peyton was the high point senior, Rheagan was 3rd, and Kaylee was 9th.
Judging as an individual in the senior division was Logan Poncik.
