2024 LG Chamber Banquet Award Winners

Jay Dee’z Sports Grill in La Grange won the 2024 award for Business Achievement Friday. Accepting were owners Amanda and John Daniel. The award was presented by state senator Lois Kolkhorst, left.

The Rising Star award was won by Mac’s Daqs Bar and Lounge which recently celebrated its first anniversary in downtown La Grange. Accepting the award were owners Mac Brooks and Kelsey Parchman.

The award for Outstanding Philanthropic Group was won by Second Chance Emporium, which since its opening in 1996 has donated more than $4 million in proceeds to other local non-profits. Accepting were Second Chance’s Store Director Gayle Schielack, second from left, and Second Chance’s Church Coordinator Nancy Hajek, third from left. The award was presented by State Senator Lois Kolkhorst, left, and State Rep. Stan Kitzman, right.
