105th Birthday of American Legion Celebrated

At the regular monthly meeting of the H. J. Ehler American Legion Post 102, La Grange on 13 March 2024, the Post and its Auxiliary Unit enjoyed a presentation by Josh Vandever, Fayette County EMS Director, after which the members enjoyed delicious home-made stew cooked by J. R. and Mary Baca. All then enjoyed the anniversary cake provided by the Auxiliary celebrating the 105th birthday of the American Legion. Pictured are, left to right, Norman T. All veterans are invited and encouraged to join Post 102 and enjoy the comradeship, meetings, meals and service projects the Post provides. American Legion Post 102 and its Auxiliary meet at the Veterans Hall (formerly the VFW hall) on the north part of the Fayette County fairgrounds at 6 PM on the second Wednesday of every month.
