WoodmenLife Members Take on Community Beautification Project
WoodmenLife members and volunteers in La Grange recently completed a beautification project as part of the organization’s Giving Together initiative. The chapter chose to create indoor flower pots for the lobby of Hospice Brazos County branch in La Grange.
For this project, local WoodmenLife Sales Representative Cami Dixon recruited community volunteers and provided the necessary supplies. The indoor metal flowers brought a bit of cheerfulness to the lobby. After the project was completed, the group enjoyed breakfast before going off to their jobs.
“WoodmenLife was built on a commitment to family, community and country, and the Giving Together program gives us an opportunity to show that commitment to the entire community,” said Cami Dixon “We are thrilled with how the project turned out and are looking at other ways we can continue Giving Together in more areas of our town.”
