Sacred Heart Catholic School Celebrates Sixth-Grade, Kindergarten Graduations
Sacred Heart Catholic School celebrated the graduation of its sixth-grade class Friday, May 15, with a Mass and graduation ceremony.
Presidential Academic Awards were presented to Sophie Janda, gold; and Ellery Bradford and Helen Streiff, silver (tie). Helen Streiff delivered the welcome address. Marley Vasek gave the closing remarks, and Hallie Gross delivered the farewell. The class selected “They’ll Know We Are Christians” as its class song. School officials wished the graduates success as they move on to middle school and thanked families for choosing Sacred Heart Catholic School for their children’s education. They entered to learn so many years ago and will now exit to lead as disciples of Christ.
On Monday, May 18, the school celebrated its kindergarten graduation ceremony. Kindergarten students processed into the church and performed “On Eagle’s Wings” and “If I Were a Butterfly.”
Recognition was given to the students for their hard work, academic and behavioral growth, and discipleship in Christ. School officials praised the students for their accomplishments and expressed excitement for their future success in grade school.
