Muldoon Resident Outings
Attends Wedding
Nada and Ted Burns, and John and Debra Schwartzenburg traveled to Cedar Rapids, Iowa recently to attend their niece’s wedding. Becky Schwartzenburg was married to Will Trasowech. Becky and Will are planning on moving to Houston in the near future. The couple have been dating and finally decided to tie the knot. They have attended the Speed family reunion in years past as part of the extended family. Becky is the daughter of Irvin and Kayleen Schwartzenburg, who visits in the area often.
Attends Birthday Party
Kathy and Frank Chlumsky slipped off to Round Rock to help their granddaughter Olivia Williams celebrate her fourth birthday. It was a beautiful day, although it was hot. All the kids and the adults enjoyed a party in the park. She got to spend the day with all her grandparents, cousins, aunt and uncles, and all her friends. At the end of the day there was a pizza dinner party. Over all it was a very busy day for Olivia. Olivia also recently performed in her first ballet/ dance recital, so she has been a very busy young lady.
Out And About
Nancie Blair slipped off to Houston recently to visit with her granddaughter Valarie Schick and great granddaughter Cadence. Instead of cutting the visit short, Valarie and Cadence traveled to Muldoon with Nancie to spend a few days in the country.
Recently Ron and Pam Knotts were treated to a visit from a one year old baby girl, and what a treat it was. Keylee Simpson was in from Arkansas for her niece’s first birthday party and decided to bring little Olivia over for a visit before the party. Also tagging along was Keylee’s ten-year-old brother Tyler. Olivia was a very good natured baby and it was fun watching her wander around the kitchen and den discovering lots of new things to explore. One kitchen cabinet was quite entertaining. Tyler is a lot of fun to talk to, and like most ten-year-old boys, he never stopped being hungry. The gang ended up spending the night instead of driving back to Eagle Lake and left early the next morning to get back before the birthday party. It was a great surprise visit.
Rain
Muldoon continues to have almost daily showers. Most days have been under an inch, sometimes only a hundredth, but daily showers. The pastures are all very green and lush with grass that is very unusual for the month of July in the area.
Temperatures have also been very unusual for July with highs in the high eighties. Early mornings have been very pleasant before the morning humidity starts to take over and make things feel very hot and sticky.
