DAR Recognizes Todd and Robin Nelson in Cat Spring

Todd and Robin Nelson, owners of Nelson’s Carports, were the recipients of the American Flag put out by NSDAR. The flag given to the Nelsons was to replace the current flag flying over their business located at 2549 FM 949, Cat Spring. The flag that was given by the Grant Program and presented was a flag that was flown over The DAR Continental Congress Hall in Washington DC. This was important to both the DAR and the Nelsons. The Nelsons have competed in a BBQ Cook-Off in front of the DAR Continental Congress Hall. They were very familiar with the location where the flag was previously flown and took great pride in the display of the American Flag and its meaning.
