Truck Burns on Interstate
Flatonia Fire and Rescue put out a truck fire on Interstate 10 Tuesday with assistance from Schulenburg Volunteer Fire Department. The fire took place around 1 p.m. in the westbound lanes west of Flatonia. Schulenburg VFD sent a water tanker to assist. The truck-tractor burned to the ground. There were no injuries.
