Fruit Tree Field Day Postponed

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will be postponing the Multi-County Fruit Tree Field Day in Windale that was scheduled for May 22. This event traditionally is one of the largest fruit tree events in the state annually and therefore we don’t make this decision lightly. We are evaluating our options and will try to reschedule for a fall meeting.

Supplies and Goodbyes' at LGISD

Wednesday night was the first of two days of “Supplies and Goodbyes” pick-ups at La Grange Hermes and Intermediate Schools. The staff made it a festive-type atmosphere as teachers were also able to say goodbye to their students. The students and their families drove up to the school and were able to pick up the school supplies and anything else they left behind way back at the end of Spring Break…

Holy Cross Worship Services Resume Sunday

Holy Cross Lutheran Church will tentatively resume in-person services on Sunday, May 24 in accordance with State guidelines. Sunday School will not re-open, but Bible Class will resume in-person in the sanctuary. Members 65 and older and those with underlying health conditions are encouraged to continue to worship from their homes. Beginning May 27, a mid-week service restricted to those 65 years…
