According to the Texas Department of State Health Services:
• 3,892 people in Fayette County has received at least the first dose of the COVID vaccine. That’s nearly 20-percent of the estimated population of the county that is over the age of 16 (20,879).
• This week the Flatonia Pharmacy was scheduled to get 100 doses of the vaccine from the state and St. Mark’s Medical Center in La Grange was scheduled to get 400. The regional SubHub in Brenham, where many locals have gone to get vaccinated, was scheduled to get another 3,000 does of the vaccine this week.
• As of Sunday, state officials were saying there were 102 active cases of COVID in Fayette County.
