Vacant Lot to Become New Bluebonnet Healthcare Facility in La Grange

16,000 Square Foot Complex Will be on the Site of Kenmar Services Building Which was Recently Demolished Because of Hurricane Harvey Flood Damage

Bluebonnet Trails Community Services purchased the former Kenmar property at 750 West Travis Street in La Grange. The organization plans to build a new facility on the property. The sale was finalized on April 15.

The new healthcare facility will expand upon services currently offered at the existing Bluebonnet Trails location in La Grange. This project involves the design and construction of a 16,000 square foot facility to support community members in need of early childhood intervention, mental health care, substance use treatment, intellectual and developmental disability services and autism treatment. Local partners are engaged in the process of designing the facility to provide a broader array of services on the site.

Bob Heinrich, Bluebonnet Trails Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees representing Fayette County, stated, “We are excited to move forward in La Grange. This is an opportunity for our center to be located in a convenient area in order to expand our many services to the community, alongside our partners in the area, to help improve access to physical and mental healthcare as well as developmental services.”
