NVCC Adds New Activities For Fall

Come see what you’re missing. Navidad Valley Community Connections is excited to kick off the fall season with several new activities. Interested in reading? Join the book club. This month the club will be reading and discussing “Where the Crawdads Sing,” a coming-of-age murder mystery written by Delia Owens. Along with the usual domino games, Wednesday Bingo, and Friday arts and crafts, NVCC will also be having trivia, movies, a Halloween contest, a referral program and more.

Members at the center are busy designing Christmas ornaments for the Schulenburg Chamber of Commerce’s annual Christmas tree decorating contest held at Sengelmann Hall in downtown Schulenburg. All members are happily participating; theme for this year is “Memories!” Come see the wonderful memories they are sharing. Your vote is appreciated at Sengelmann Hall Nov. 27 through Dec. 14 and help NVCC win.

NVCC greatly appreciates the Schulenburg Garden Company for donating ice to the center. NVCC appreciate any Bingo prize donations as well, whether they are monetary or item donations. NVCC is on the hunt for a cake walk wheel, so if you have one that you are willing to donate, contact NVCC.
