Guns, Meth Seized in Swiss Alp

Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that the Fayette County Narcotics Unit completed a four-month-long narcotics investigation into the selling of crystal meth in the Swiss Alp area of Fayette County on July 6.

“Throughout the months long investigation it was found that crystal methamphetamine was being sold from a residence by suspect Timothy John Wiseman,” the Sheriff said in a statement issued Friday afternoon.  

A search and arrest warrants were later obtained and executed around 2 p.m. last Friday at the suspect’s residence. During the search of the residence deputies found that Wiseman was in possession of approximately four grams of crystal meth, four  firearms, a small amount of marijuana, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia, from clear plastic baggies to pipes and scales.  Wiseman was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance.  

“The Fayette County Narcotics Unit is always working diligently to stop the flow of narcotics throughout Fayette County,” the Sheriff said.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the service of the search warrant by Schulenburg Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers and Fayette County E.M.S.
