Wife Dead, Husband Charged With Murder

La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath said lots of local folks will probably remember Anthony D. McClanahan and his wife Keri “KC” McClanahan, who arrived in town just two days after the historic flooding of Hurricane Harvey.

They brought a truck load of bottled water to the Red Cross Shelter at Second Baptist Church (a picture of which appeared in this newspaper, reprinted to the right) and they brought relief supplies to the KC Hall.

“Lots of people were taking pictures with them,” said Gilbreath.

Anthony told folks he was a former Dallas Cowboys player. He actually went to training camp with the Cowboys after a standout career playing for Washington State University and in the Canadian Football League, but never played in a game for Dallas.
