Led by Just Two Seniors, Lady Leps Aim for Another District Title

What the La Grange volleyball team lacks in height and experience, they plan to make up for with heart and hustle.

Coming off a share of the district title coupled with a bidistrict playoff victory last year, the Lady Leps opened their 2017 campaign with practices this week.

“We’ll be young,” said La Grange head coach Rhonda Bloodworth as she looked out at her high school athletes on the first day of practice Tuesday.

“We don’t have a lot of size but these kids work hard. We’ll have to use that work ethic to get a little better each week and set some goals for ourselves and our team. I’m expecting good things. This is a good group of kids.”
