Fayetteville Area Veterans Day Events Set

There’s a lot going on Veterans Day. The Fayetteville ISD Veterans Day Parade is honoring all who served. Veterans meet at the town square at 8 a.m. this Saturday. FISD Superintendent Dr. Jeff Harvey and Technology Director Mr. Ray Brother, former Marine and retired Air Force, will lead veterans from the town square to the school for the parade.

The annual Memorial Service and Mass for Knights of Columbus Chromcik Council No. 2574, Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Annunciation No. 1962 and Court Queen of the Holy Rosary No. 2282 will be held Tuesday Nov. 14 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange. Recitation of the Rosary begins at 6 p.m. Memorial Service and Mass at 6:30 p.m., followed by a supper at the parish center.
