Tamara Otto Named Catholic Life All American Scholar

Tamara Otto of Schulenburg, received the Catholic Life Insurance All American Scholar Award. Otto, who is the daughter of Stacy and Keith Otto, is a senior at Schulenburg High School. She will attend Texas A&M University this fall. A total of 35 seniors received the $1,000 All American scholarship from Catholic Life.

Local Restaurants Raise Funds for Red Door Fund for Mental Health

Two local restaurants, Celebrations and Lulu’s, held dinners in February with Heart-Brand Beef providing steaks for the event. The proceeds from the dinners benefited the Red Door Fund for Mental Health (RDF) of the Fayette Community Foundation, to support mental health awareness, services and providers in the area.
