Muldoon Ends 2020 With Over an Inch of Rain

Muldoon is finally getting a little rain as 2020 is ending. Depending on where you were, some received over an inch others not as much at the time of this writing. It is so nice to see water standing in the fields.

Winchester First United Methodist Donates to AMEN

The Winchester FUMC members collected food through a Reverse Advent program of adding food items to a box for each day of December and then bringing them to Church at the Christmas Eve Service, where they were blessed. The boxes were then donated to AMEN food pantry. Over 200 lbs. of food was collected. A monetary donation was also given through a Special Offering.

More County Records Will Soon be Searchable Online

Fayette County Commissioners approved a contract for a web hosting service that will allow anyone from the public to search records at the County Clerk’s office online. Typically, anyone wanting to view county clerk records like land deeds and liens must go to the County Clerk’s office in person.

County Gives $5,000 to C.J. Lehmann Before He Officially Comes off Payroll

Fayette County Commissioners voted to donate $5,000 to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Memorial and Benevolent Fund for the support of Deputy C.J. Lehmann, who was shot and blinded in the line of duty on Nov. 1, 2018.
