The La Grange volleyball team lost at Giddings Tuesday in three sets 25-21, 25-16, 2523. The loss drops the Lady Leps to 2-3 in district and 1421 overall. Jena Jobb led La Grange in kills with eight and Carley Ulrich had five. Jobb and Kylie Trlicek each had 10 digs. Phoebe Tucker had 10 assists and Trlicek had nine.

La Grange football player Cordale Knapik recently showed his clutch gene on the defensive end in order to help capture the team’s first win of the season. In a 63-47 shootout against Splendora last Friday on homecoming night, Knapik snagged two crucial interceptions, making sure the Leopards protected their home turf.
