RTC Baseball Sweeps Richards

The Round Top-Carmine baseball team swept Richards 8-0 and 14-11 in a pair of games Tuesday that secures the Cubs the top spot in District 26-1A. In the 8-0 victory, William Neese pitched 6.1 innings of two-hit ball, striking out 15.

Lady Leps Seniors

Friday is the final home game of the season for the La Grange softball team as the Lady Leps host Navasota at 7 p.m. The team will celebrate their three seniors that night. Those seniors are, left to right – Kaylee Holmes, Melissa Gonzales and Landri Hernandez.

Gonzales Homers as the Lady Leps Beat Caldwell

The La Grange softball team beat Caldwell 8-1 Tuesday as Melissa Gonzales hit a towering home run over the scoreboard in left center and drove in two. “I did not think I was going to hit it over the scoreboard.

Stark Keeps Coming Up Big for the Leopards on Mound and at the Plate

In one of La Grange’s most important baseball games of the season so far, Ty Stark came up huge in Giddings last week – coming within one out of pitching a complete game and striking out 10 in a 7-3 Leopards win. He’s also the Leps’ leadoff hitter and hit a homer and drove in three runs in that game.

La Grange Competes at The District Track Meet, Advances Several to Area

The La Grange track team competed at the District 22-4A meet Wednesday and Thursday in Giddings. The Leps advanced several varsity athletes (who finished in the top four of their events) to this week’s area meet Wednesday at Leopard Stadium. Here are all the LHS competitors who placed in the top six of their events.

St. Rose Track Athletes

On Thursday, April 3, the Track Team from St. Rose of Lima Catholic School was presented their awards following Mass.
