The La Grange softball team improved to 17-8 overall and 8-2 in district as they won their regular season finale 2-1 in eight innings at Navasota Tuesday. Brooke Ulrich pitched a complete game six-hitter with 10 strikeouts.

Targac Fans His 500th as Bulldogs Roll Past Weimar

The Flatonia baseball team bounced back from a tough loss to Schulenburg last week by beating Weimar 8-0 Tuesday. In that game Flatonia pitcher Titan Targac struck out his 500th career batter as the Bulldogs improved to 8-2 in district. This Thursday, April 17 the Dogs will travel to Ganado for a 4 p.m. ballgame. Next week Flatonia will close out their District schedule at home on April 22 vs Shiner.

The Schuleburg baseball team rallied to beat Flatonia Friday 7-5. Flatonia led 5-0 before the Shorthorns scored two runs in the fifth and five in the seventh.

Leps Soar to New Heights at Area Track Meet

La Grange Sweeps Pole Vault Area Titles, as Several Advance to Regionals La Grange hosted the 21-22 4A area track meet Wednesday. The top four finishers in each event advance to regionals, and La Grange had several athletes do so.
