Schulenburg Hosts CC Meet

At Thursday’s Schulenburg CC Meet held at the City of Schulenburg Sports Complex Lady Horn Ellie Hammack finished in 6th place in the varsity girls division. Bo Brossman and Demarion Glass medaled in the JV Boys division. The varsity boys finished 4th as a team led by Adam Schramek (26th individually), and the JV Boys finished 3rd as a team. The Horns and Lady Horns were set to travel to Shiner’s Greens Dickison Park this Thursday.

Volleyball Roundup

• The La Grange volleyball team competed at the Rice Consolidated Tournament last week, beating Navasota, Ganado and St. Paul, but falling to Hallettsville, Burton and Iola. The Lady Leps are now 15-10 and play at Jarrell Tuesday.
