It was a big night in Giddings Friday for La Grange as both varsity basketball teams beat the Buffaloes. The La Grange girls basketball team overwhelmed Giddings Friday 75-25 as the Lady Leps improved to 21-8 overall and 3-0 in district.
La Grange Little League (LGLL) completed $30,000 in improvements to local baseball fields last week. The work involved tilling, grading and edging all of the infields.

The La Grange girls soccer team has gotten off to a strong start to the season (3-0). A big reason for that has been the leadership shown by their four senior co-captains – Hope Michalke, Trinity Yanis, Kyla Colon and Kaylee Soto.
Both La Grange varsity soccer teams won their district openers Tuesday against Taylor. The Lady Leps went to Taylor and won 1-0 on a first half goal by freshman Lily Banks with an assist coming from Raylee Gutierrez.
Lady Leps Dominate in District Opener The La Grange girls basketball team opened district play in dominating fashion, beating Smithville on the road Friday 70-33. The Lady Leps are now 19-8 overall and 1-0 in district.
The Round Top-Carmine boys basketball team lost to Dime Box 58-47 Friday to fall to 7-11 overall and 1-1 in district. The Cubettes also lost to Dime Box Friday 55-52 as the RTC girls fell to 4-10 overall and 2-2 in district..
