Kylie Trlicek Scores 1,500th Point

La Grange senior point guard Kylie Trlicek scored her 1,500 career point in Tuesday’s Lady Leps’ win over Smithville. After the game she and her teammates celebrated with a pair of commemorative banners and a keepsake basketball to honor the accomplishment of all those points.

LG Girls Stay in First Place

In front of the biggest home crowd of the year (partially fueled from a really heated battle the last time these two teams met) the La Grange girls basketball team beat Smithville 58-33 at home Tuesday night.

B y any measure the Fayetteville boys basketball team is really good and has been for a while. They went to the state semis two years ago, the state quarterfinals last year and this year they’ve jumped out to a 21-6 overall record and are ranked No.

Leps Smash Smithville

Fayetteville Girls Inch Closer to District Title

The Fayetteville girls basketball team inched closer to a district title with a 77-37 victory over Dime Box Tuesday. The Lady Lions are now 15-13 overall and 9-0 in district. Scotti Beseda led Fayetteville in scoring with 25 points. Devynn Moeckel scored 16, Cambree Denham 14 and Shea Sladek 13.

Valchar Makes ASU’s Athletic Honor Roll

Nearly 200 Angelo State University student-athletes, including Kobi Valchar of Schulenburg, have been named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for their academic achievement during the fall 2025 semester.
