Monday morning the UIL announced its new athletic districts for the next two years, and La Grange, particularly, better gas up the busses. La Grange La Grange’s new District 12-4A for football includes Bellville, Brazosport, Hitchcock, Katy Harmony, and La Marque.

Banks, Yanis Boot Goals as LG Soccer Wins Again

OnTuesday, the La Grange Lady Leps Varsity Soccer team defeated the Manor New Tech Titans at New Tech Coliseum by a score of 2-1. With the victory, the Lady Leps improved their district record to 5-1. The Lady Leps have won seven of their last eight contests.

Hoops Round-Up

The La Grange girls basketball team improved to 25-8 overall and 7-0 in district with a 63-28 victory at Bellville Friday. The first place Lady Leps host Giddings Tuesday at 6 p.m.

No Pool, No Problem: LHS Swimmers Headed to State – Again

Two-day swim meets are a test few truly understand. They demand everything from an athlete—physically and mentally. Muscles are sore before day two even begins. Focus is tested. Fatigue settles in. In Region 4, one of the most competitive swim regions in the state, many swimmers struggle to hold times on the second day, let alone improve them.
