The La Grange boys basketball team went to Smithville Friday and smashed the Tigers 69-23. The playoff bound La Grange boys are now 22-10 overall and 7-2 in district and will host Bellville at 7 p.m.

Leps Fall to Navasota

The La Grange boys basketball team lost to Navasota at home Tuesday 64-32. The loss drops the Leps to 21-10 overall and 6-2 in district.

Senior Hoopers Key to Lady Leps’ District Title

Ella Nygren and Kylie Trlicek have been playing basketball together since they were kindergarteners. Meanwhile, fellow senior LaDonije Lewis just transferred from Smithville to LHS her final year of high school, and couldn’t play the game she loved, but instead threw herself into being the best team manager she could be.

Lady Leps Win District Basketball Title

The Lady Leps punctuated their dominant regular season with an exclamation point. The La Grange girls completed their first undefeated run through district since 2021 with a 46-27 victory over Navasota Tuesday night.

Hoops Round-Up

The Fayetteville girls basketball team polished off a perfect 12-0 run through District 29-1A play with a 50-8 win over Richards Friday. The Lady Lions are 18-13 overall.
