Fourth Round Bound!

The Flatonia girls basketball team won their regional semifinal Monday 72-43 over Refugio, led by a 31-point, 22-rebound night from Summer Sodek. Kalen Scott scored 16, Abbie Uzzell nine, Jalee Trussell eight, Dani Vinklarek four and Kennedy Dornak four.

2025-26 Lady Leps: Making Hoop History

The La Grange girls basketball team’s wildy successful season came to an end Tuesday with a 46-43 loss to Bridge City in the regional semifinals. Campbell Cooper scored 19, Kylie Trlicek 10, Avery Griffin seven and Macie Collier five but it was not quite enough to beat a loaded Bridge City team (32-2) that went five rounds deep last year.

La Grange Soccer Sweeps Caldwell

La Grange Lady Leps Varsity Soccer team delivered a strong team performance on Tuesday, defeating the Caldwell Lady Hornets 3-1. With the win, the Lady Leps Varsity has won 11 of its last 13 games and is 9-2 in district play.

La Grange Competes in First Track Meet of the Season

The La Grange track team competed in its first meet of the season last week in Lockhart. Both the boys and the girls were sixth in the team standings out of eight teams competing. The La Grange hosts the Leopard Relays this Thursday. La Grange athletes who placed in the top six included:

Lady Leps Go 4-2 At Home Tourney

The La Grange softball team went 4-2 at their home tournament last week to improve their overall record to 8-4 this season. The Lady Leps opened the tournament with a 4-0 loss to Needville, but bounced back Thursday night to beat the New Braunfels Thunders 7-0 as Brooke Ulrich pitched a complete game one-hitter and Anabella DelaRosa had two hits.
