High school volleyball season is upon us.
The first day high schools can hold official workouts is this Friday.
The first day for scrimmages is Aug. 8 and the first day of the regular season is Aug. 11 All five Fayette County volleyball teams made the playoffs last season. Round Top-Carmine marched the farthest of our local teams, making it all the way to the state semifinals, but Flatonia and Schulenburg also made long playoffs runs.
