Volleyball Roundup

• The La Grange volleyball team competed at the Rice Consolidated Tournament last week, beating Navasota, Ganado and St. Paul, but falling to Hallettsville, Burton and Iola. The Lady Leps are now 15-10 and play at Jarrell Tuesday.

• The Schulenburg volleyball team faced some really big school at the Legends Invitational and lost in the title match of the Copper Bracket to Bridge City. Overall the Lady Horns went 6-3 in the tourney, beating Alief Taylor, AWTY International, Thrall, Aggieland Homeschool, RTC and Port Neches-Groves but falling to Austin Bowie, New Braunfels and Bridge City. The Lady Horns are now 17-11.

• The Fayetteville volleyball team competed at the Rice Consolidated tournament last week, going 6-2. The Lady Lions beat Bloomington, Palacios, Rice, Navasota, Sacred Heart and the Navasota JV. They lost to Flatonia and St. Paul.
