The La Grange volleyball team beat Cuero on Tuesday 25-18, 25-7. 27-25 to improve to 19-12.
It was the final non-district tune-up for the Lady Leps before district play starts next Tuesday at 6 p.m. at home against Navasota.
Here are La Grange’s stat leaders from Tuesday’s victory: Kills: Carley Ulrich 11, Avery Griffin 9, Brion Williams 8 Assists: Gabby Hollek 14, Kylie Trlicek 12 Digs: Carley Ulrich 11, Ashtyn Smith 9.
Aces: Kylie Trlicek 5, Haedyn Cooper 5, Brion Williams 3.
Blocks: Carley Ulrich 1, Campbell Cooper 1, Brion Williams 1, Kenna Lamza 1.
Fayetteville
Sweeps McDade
The Fayetteville volleyball team defeated McDade Tuesday 29-27, 25-14, 25-13.
Lainey Gromaski had 12 kills, Cambree Denham and Maycee Miller had seven, and Devynn Moeckel had five.
Scott Beseda had five aces, and Raelee Denham and Cambree Denham had two each.
Cambree Denham had 11 digs, Raelee Denham had seven, Aubrey Muzny and Moeckel both had seven digs as well.
Beseda had 28 assists. The Lady Lions improved to 19-10 overall with the win.
Lady Horns Win
The Schulenburg volleyball team bashed Smithville 25-15, 25-17, 25-18 Tuesday as the Lady Horns improved to 21-12 this season.
Flatonia Wins
The Flatonia volleyball team defeated Gonzales in five sets Tuesday 25-16, 2725, 22-25, 23-25, and 15-13.
