Supak Pitching Well in Minors

La Grange native Trey Supak is having a really good month of June so far with Frisco, the Double-A baseball team for the Texas Rangers.

In three starts this month Supak is 1-0 with a 2.16 ERA in 16.2 innings pitched with 13 strikeouts. He was briefly up in Triple-A back in May.

In some other organizations Supak’s June numbers might warrant a move up the ranks, but the Texas Rangers have one of the best pitching staffs in the majors (though also one of the worst statistical lineups, which is why they are six games behind the Astros right now).

Supak is a 2014 La Grange High School grad.
