Summer Sodek Scores 3,000th Point as the Flatonia Girls Keep Rolling

Flatonia senior Summer Sodek hit the 3,000 career point milestone Tuesday in the Lady Bulldogs’ 62-39 victory over Cuero.

Sodek had a team-high 32 points as the Lady Bulldogs improved to 22-2 overall.

Dani Vinklarek and Kennedy Dornak scored eight each. Kalen Scott and Jalee Trussell scored six each and Abbie Uzzell scored two.

Sodek and Trussell each grabbed eight rebounds.

The Flatonia girls, who are 3-0 in district play, return to action Friday at 5 p.m. against Louise
