Sodek Masterful as Flatonia Girls Roll to Bi-District Title

The Flatonia girls basketball team opened the playoffs in dominant fashion, beating Rosebud-Lott 83-33 Monday in Caldwell.

Senior Summer Sodek was one steal away from getting a quadruple-double in the game. She had 29 points, 14 rebounds, 14 assists and nine steals. Kalen Scott scored 20, Abbie Uzzell scored 18, Kennedy Dornak scored 11, Jalee Trussell scored three, and Dani Vinklarek scored two.

The Lady Dogs will be back in action Thursday as they play in the Area round of the 2A playoffs vs. Mumford at 6 p.m. in Giddings.
