Schulenburg Volleyball Keeps Rolling

The Schulenburg volleyball team won both of their games last week, beating Smithville in three sets and Navarro in five.
The Lady Horns are now 22-12. In the Smithville victory, Landry Zapalac led in assists with 31 and she also had six aces and 12 digs. Greenli Van Zandt had a team-high 12 kills. Haylee Vacek had 11 kills and Reagan Dusek had seven. Jenna Guentert had 23 digs and Miranda Bonner had 10.
Against Navarro Zapalac had 50 kills and 16 digs. Van Zandt had 20 kills. Vacek had 16 kills and 20 digs. Clara Magliolo had 11 kills. Jenna Guentert had 34 digs and Bonner had 21. Michaela Kollman had 14 digs. Dusek had nine kills.
Cubettes Fall to Weimar
The Round Top-Carmine volleyball team lost to Weimar in three sets Friday 25-18, 25-23, 25-10.
The Cubettes dropped to 8-21-1 overall with the loss. Madison Markwardt had eight kills, 17 digs and 20 assists. Bree Doolley had eight kills and 17 digs. Jessica Rohde had seven kills. Lilliana Salinas had 11 digs.
