The members of the Schulenburg volleyball team celebrate after their first round win Thursday in Seguin over Yorktown.
The Schulenburg volleybball team swept Yorktown 2522, 25-14, 25-11 in their 2A playoff opener Thursday in Seguin.
The Lady Horns (32-14 overall) now advance to play Snook 7 p.m. Monday Nov. 3 at Fayetteville High School.
Haylee Vacek led Schulenburg in kills Thursday with 12. Greenli Van Zandt had 11 kills, Reagan Dusek had eight, and Grace Schramek had five.
Landry Zapalac had 32 assists and 11 digs. Michaela Kollman had three aces and 10 digs. Jenna Guentert led the team in digs with 12.
