Schulenburg Football Team Falls to Brazos 65-18

The Schulenburg football team dropped its record to 1-3 with a 65-18 loss at Brazos Consolidated Friday.

Brazos (4-0) amassed 565 total yards of offense in this one, while the Shorthorns were limited to 264 yards.

Daterrion Houston ran for touchdowns of 50 and 51 yards in this one for Schulenburg. ‘Horns quarterback Owen Brenek ran for a fourth quarter touchdown.

Schulenburg will try to snap their three-game losing streak Friday as they begin district play at Kenedy, which is 4-0 and coming off a 61-8 victory over Pettus.
