Schulenburg’s Arely Cortez runs in Shiner.
The Horns and Lady Horns ran at Shiner this past Saturday. In the Jr. High District Meet Daniel Moreno was 3rd overall with a time of 13:39. In the girls Jr. High district race Arely Cortez finished 3rd, Rubi Cortez 10th and Matte Bartek finished 27th.
In the 1A - 4A division Ellie Hammack finished 5th with a time of 13:50. Michaela Kollmann finished 12th and Anna Marie Granados 14th.
The JV Boys finished 4th as a team led by Johan Flores with a time of 15:10. The high school district meet is in Shiner on Monday Oct. 6 at Green Dickerson Park starting at 9 a.m.
