RTC Girls Beat Sacred Heart

The Round Top-Carmine girls basketball team improved their record to 4-9 overall with a 37-29 victory over Hallettsville Sacred Heart Tuesday.

Madison Markwardt led the Cubettes in scoring with nine points. Jaylen Bage scored eight, Bree Dooley seven, Avery Lamson six, Morgan Nelius four and Hayden Kasmiersky three.

The Cubettes are 2-1 in district play.
