The Round Top-Carmine boys basketball team won their district opener Friday, defeating Calvert 50-41.
The victory improves the Cubs overall record to 6-10.
The Cubs trailed by three at halftime but uses a big third quarter to take the lead.
Facundo Cerda led the Cubs in scoring with 21 points.
Kash Wessels scored 10, William Neese eight, Cash Robertson seven and Tre’Veon Fisher four.
