Postseason Begins for LHS Softball and Baseball

The La Grange softball and baseball teams begin their respective post-seasons this week.

The Lady Leps softball team (17-8), which was runner- up in their district, opens the 4A Division 1 playoffs with a one-gamer at Ft. Bend Almeta Crawford at 6 p.m. Friday.

The winner advances to play the Burnet/Gatesville victor next week.

Meanwhile, the La Grange baseball team (12--10) ended up tied with Caldwell for the district title, so they will play the Hornets for the top seed Thursday April 24 at 6 p.m. in Navasota.

Both teams will then begin the 4A playoffs next week.
