LG’s Trey East Shines for Cougars at Big 12 Meet

La Grange’s Trey East III holds up his 4x400 relay silver medal at the Big 12 Indoor Championships last week in Lubbock.
Trey East III, a La Grange native and senior graduate student on the University of Houston track team placed second in the 400 meters in a personal best time of 45.54 at the Big 12 track indoor championships in Lubbock last weekend.
East’s time in the 400 was the second fastest in U of H history. East was also part of the Cougars 4x400 relay that placed second with a time of 3:05.70.
